A Mysterious Scratch in the Dixie House: One Guest’s Unsettling Encounter

Some haunted locations seem to hold onto their secrets-and sometimes, they reveal them in startling ways.

During a recent Para4ce Investigation inside the haunted Dixie House, one of our investigators experienced a moment that was extremely memorable.. The guest he was guiding had just returned from the bathroom, visibly shaken. She said, “I didn’t notice this until I went to wash my hands…”-and then showed him a fresh, bloody scratch on her hand. As if that weren’t strange enough, when she returned from rinsing off the blood, something even more chilling was discovered-a tiny puncture, like someone had stuck her with a pin. And it was still bleeding.

She had no memory of bumping into anything, no sharp object nearby, and certainly no recollection of scratching herself. What’s more, the investigator noticed how seemed disoriented and dizzy she was When asked again if she could’ve done it to herself, she was adamant that she has not.

This happened late on a Tuesday night, during one of our regularly scheduled investigations. And it’s not the first unexplained event to take place in the Dixie House. Many guests and investigators alike have reported cold spots, strange whispers, EMF spikes, and sensations of being watched in this historic, haunted property. But physical marks? That’s rare-and disturbing.
